Missio Survivo (Playdate)

(Currently in extremely early demo form)
Building off the battle mechanics of Initial Daydream and inspired by the unlock-a-thon madness of Vampire Survivors comes Missio Survivo!
Explore dungeons to unlock new paths, weapons, abilities, characters, and more dungeons! Each character has a unique innate ability. Each weapon adds to a different stat, from classics like Health or Mana, to wackier things like Initiative and Attack!
Controls:
In battle:
Crank to attack!
A to open the ability menu and use abilities, as well as dismiss dialogs.
In the field:
A to interact.
B to open and close the status menu.
D pad to move.
In menus:
A to open and select options.
B to go back.
Chests in each run are semi-randomized, and bosses get harder every time you beat them!
Current version is the 2024 demo, made for the PIGSquad 2024 Finish Your Game jam. I'll probably only leave it up on itch for a couple weeks. Currently there are 3 unlockable characters, 3 total Missios, 3 unlockable weapons, 7 usable weapons, and none of the abilities work beside the Innate ones. Balance is extremely broken, mostly in the player's favor. Still a lot of work to do, but any feedback is appreciated!
